This five-day course covers both Omnissa Horizon 8 Infrastructure Administration and Troubleshooting. It provides learners with essential skills in installing and configuring Omnissa Horizon® infrastructure and equips them to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within Omnissa Horizon environments. Through a combination of lectures, hands-on labs, and a challenge lab, participants will gain practical experience in configuring Omnissa Horizon components, including Connection Server, Unified Access Gateway, and Cloud Pod Architecture.
To benefit from this course, attendees should have foundational skills in VMware infrastructure and system administration, specifically:
Proficiency in VMware vSphere® Client™ to manage virtual machines, datastores, and networks
Skills in Active Directory (AD) services management, including DNS, DHCP, time synchronization, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
Experience in setting up Remote Desktop connections and ODBC connections to SQL databases
